Krka Waterfalls

Krka is one of Croatian national parks, located in the middle part of Dalmatia, 15 min northeast of the city of Šibenik. National park of Krka is named after the river Krka which flows downriver. Skradinski buk, Roški Slap, Visovac Island are the highlights of Krka national park.
Skradinski Buk are collections of 17 waterfalls and range between them in height is 45 meters. It is considered as one of the most beautiful calcium carbonate waterfalls in Europe and it is most visited part of the park.
Roški slap attracts many visitors too and it is located near Miljevci and it could be reached by boat operated by national park or with public road. There are also walking and hiking trails that you can enjoy especially in a beautiful view.
Visovac is the island inside the park, on which is located Franciscan Monastery and could be reached by boat tour from Skradinski Buk. Interesting fact is that on the river of Krka was made first hydro power plant in Europe.

08:00 departure from the Dubrovnik with short coffee break along the way
11:45 arrival in Skradin, visiting national park with some free time for lunch
16:15 departure towards Dubrovnik with short stop along the way
20:00 arrival in Dubrovnik
