Montenegro

Full day (up to 12 hours)

Beautiful Montenegro and its UNESCO protected Boka Kotorska bay will charm you at first sight. Although a small country, it has interesting history and nature, high mountains, beautiful coastline and historic monuments.

The bay of Kotor is probably one of the most beautiful bays in the world. On its north – east part lies stunning town of Kotor, a beautifully preserved, fortified, medieval town with a vibrant history. Walking through its narrow and cobblestoned streets, you’ll come across lively piazzas, many old churches and lots of cozy bars and restaurants.

Budva is the country’s most popular tourist destination with some great beaches and a lovely, walled town center located on a small peninsula,

Small but gorgeous town of Perast arise in the 17th and 18th century when it belonged to the Republic of Venice. Its baroque architecture has been wonderfully preserved, with palaces which were once owned by wealthy maritime captains.

Our Lady of the Rocks and st, George are two islets, located in the middle of the bay. Our Lady of the rocks is artificially made by local seamen who kept an oath after finding the icon of Madonna and the Child on the rock in the sea. After each successful trip, they laid down a stone in the bay, and over time became an islet.
